What Are the Benefits of a Hook-Lift System?

We're one of the few companies in the area that use the hook-lift system to place containers at your location. This system has several important attributes:
  • Unlike the track-cable system others use, the hook lift allows us to drop off containers in tighter driveways and spots
  • Some of the trucks we use to carry our containers are smaller than those used with the track-cable system, allowing us to place containers in tighter spots and on less sturdy surfaces
  • With our hook-lift system, we can softly place containers on the ground instead of literally dropping them the way track-cable operators do. This means we treat your concrete, asphalt, and lawn more gently
  • Unlike our competitors, we offer smaller 10 and 15-yard containers that are perfect for those small jobs in tight spaces
We offer quick delivery, quick turnaround, and economical pricing!

What Can't I Put in a Dumpster?

Law doesn't permit us to accept any toxic or hazardous waste materials, including paint, herbicides, pesticides, asbestos, chemicals, oil, tires, fuels, or appliances with Freon.

Is There a Weight Limit?

Yes, there are upper limits. 10-yard containers have a 2-ton weight limit, 15-yard containers have a 3-ton weight limit, 20-yard containers have a 4-ton weight limit, 30-yard containers have a 5-ton weight limit.

If you're loading heavy materials such as dirt, rock, concrete, brick, sod, shingles, or asphalt, contact our office for loading instructions. The charge for weight of contents beyond the limit specified above is $55/ton.

Can I Fill the Container to the Top?

All materials must be inside the container, with nothing on top of the container. By law, we are required to tarp each load for transport. We cannot pick up a container that is overfull. You will be responsible for removing the excess, and a $100 return-trip fee will be charged for container return and pickup.

How Long Can I Keep the Container?

The price includes a rental period of up to 14 days for yard containers. You may extend the rental period for a small daily fee.

Will the Container Be Picked up Automatically?

No. Call when the container is ready for pickup. It's your responsibility to give our office a 24-hour notice.

Can I Move the Container?

No. We’ll do our best to place your container in a convenient and safe space. Moving the container causes damage to the underside; if damage occurs, you'll be asked to pay for the repair costs.

Is Your Disposal Company Environmentally Friendly?

Yes! We do our best to protect the environment by following safe, eco-friendly practices, including appropriate disposal of waste materials based on their nature and reuse potential.

How Much Is a Cubic Yard?

A cubic yard is 3'x3'x3' and weighs nearly one ton for sand or dirt. However, it weighs much less for most construction and trash materials. Most personal pickup trucks carry 2 cubic yards of materials. The professionals from A-Tex Dumpsters can help you estimate the size of the dumpster or the container that you'll need.
